The ITE 123 mm starter rail is used to support and align 120 mm insulation boards when installing external thermal insulation. It also protects the lower part of the façade.

This rail is compatible with expanded polystyrene (EPS), rock wool and wood fibre insulation boards approximately 120 mm thick, as used in external wall insulation systems.

The width of the starter rail must correspond to the thickness of the insulation panel used. For 120 mm insulation, a 123 mm starter rail is generally recommended.
