Description
Polyane Fin is a lightweight polyethylene protective film designed to cover joinery (windows, doors, frames) whilst façade work, painting or external thermal insulation (ETI) is being carried out. Supplied in 150 m² rolls, it can be fitted quickly to protect sensitive elements from splashes and dirt caused by building work. More flexible and thinner than floor protection film, it moulds easily to the contours of joinery and can be secured effortlessly using an adhesive. A simple and cost-effective solution to ensure a clean finish once the work is complete.

Polyane Fin is a polyethylene protective film designed to protect joinery during façade work, painting or external thermal insulation (ETI) projects. Sold in 150 m² rolls, it allows windows, doors and frames to be covered quickly before any work that generates splashes or dust. More flexible than floor protection film, Polyane fin easily conforms to the contours of PVC, timber or aluminium joinery. This flexibility makes it easy to fit around handles, hinges and profiles, leaving no areas exposed to dirt. Its resistance to liquids and dust makes it particularly suitable for external wall insulation (EWI) projects, where the bonding of insulation boards, the application of the undercoat and the fitting of the façade finish generate a great deal of splashes that could cause permanent staining on glazing and window and door frames. Polyane Fin is easily applied using a protective adhesive, without the need for any special tools, saving site teams time when preparing façades. Its thinness also makes it easy to remove once the work is complete, leaving no residue on the protected surfaces. This protective film is designed for façade contractors, painters, joiners and energy-efficiency renovation companies who wish to deliver clean and well-finished sites. Used alongside the thick Polyane film for floor protection, it effectively complements the protective equipment required for any façade or external thermal insulation project.
Intended for use in joinery, this thin film moulds well to contours but tears easily if mistakenly used as floor protection. A simple tip: always keep both types (thin and thick) on site; each has its own purpose.
